Chart notes

BATTLE QUEEN bumped with AIR KISS leaving the starting gate, stalked outside horses, moved to the three path in upper stretch, swept to command outside MELODIES near the eighth pole and eagerly drew off. TURNS TO GOLD lacked speed, swung to the five path in upper stretch and rallied outside horses. RIVER STREET LASS broke slowly, steadied near the five eighths pole, waited for room along the inner rail on the turn, swung outside inside the eighth pole and rallied. MELODIES broke alertly, moved to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, went clear in upper stretch and abruptly gave way near the eighth pole. JOSIE G swung to the four path in upper stretch and failed to be a factor. HUMMING prompted outside MELODIES and faltered in mid stretch. AIR KISS bumped with the winner at the start, raced along the inner rail and gave way. OPEN RANGE stayed along the inner rail on the turn and dropped back.
