Chart notes
MIDWAY LANE vied between rivals to the five-sixteenths pole, dueled inside MR. DISRESPECTFUL with a quarter mile remaining, fought with outer pair in upper stretch, battled NATIVE LAND who was coming over in the final furlong and dug in gamely for the score. NATIVE LAND sat off the pace in the early going, went two wide into the turn, was on the move while easing over to the three path on the turn, bid outside the top pair past the quarter pole, seized control in upper stretch, drifted inward while dueling with MIDWAY LANE in the final furlong and got outkicked in the end. MR. DISRESPECTFUL fought for the lead three deep, took over while dueling outside MIDWAY LANE at the quarter pole, lost command between rivals in upper stretch and flattened to third. RED FLAG unhurried in the opening stages, trailed outside a rival, took the turn three wide, angled out at the top of the lane and also flattened. MIDNIGHT MAMMOTH vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals to the five-sixteenths pole, failed to keep up with a quarter mile remaining and tired down the lane.
