Chart notes
CRYSTAL VISIONS tracked from inside saving ground, tipped out a path or two in upper stretch and put to a drive, edged past late. DAZZLING MOVE broke outwardly and a step slowly, moved forward to take the lead four then three wide about the six- and one-half and soon edged clear shifting in nearer the inside to dictate terms, was outfinished but held the place. HURRICANE CLAIR moved to the fore to set the early tempo from off the rail, was overtaken on the first turn and settled in behind and outside stalking, edged closer three wide on the far turn, kept on in the lane but needed more. SPEEDY FREEZE settled inside at the rear, saved ground both turns, came out a bit in late stretch and ran on in behind the top ones. FORTYFIVESEVENTY settled off the pace moving out racing three to four wide early, went evenly and made no bid. WAR PAINTER settled outside a foe off the pace racing four to five deep early, failed to rally.
