Chart notes
PHILIPINA A got away alertly then settled in the second flight and waited until the second turn before altering to the four path and rallied to draw away in the stretch. AUTHENTIC STAR was rank while racing under a tight hold early then loomed to challenge while four wide nearing the 3/8 pole and led into the stretch before being passed while running on to be second best. GUSTAVIA broke inward before being corrected by the rider and altering outward after the break then moved up and stalked the early pace while four wide before making a bid between horses into the stretch but faltered late. BEAUTIFUL TAPDANCE got off slowly then moved up between horses into the first turn and assumed command, leading the field into the second turn before being headed and gave way in the stretch. SONNY moved up and rated in the second flight early while saving ground then was asked along the inside into the stretch but made no rally.
