Chart notes

NAMARON (GER) broke a step slow, reserved along the rail in the early stages, went outside a rival on the backstretch, was on the move four wide around the far turn, closed in and drew alongside the leader midstretch and wore down that rival for the victory. PACKS A WAHLOP stalked the top pair early, bid between those runners at the five-eighths pole, took over at the nine-sixteenths marker, cleared leaving the backstretch, showed the way into the stretch, remained clear with a furlong remaining, confronted by NAMARON (GER) outside the sixteenth pole and yielded grudgingly. MAAZ (FR) broke a step slow, trailed from inside, moved to the two path at the quarter pole, swung out into the lane, closed well from outside and got up for third. CHARLIE'S TO BLAME tracked from inside, fell out of range in the middle stages, closed in around the far turn, chased two wide into the lane and finished evenly. SCIPIO broke a step slow on the outside, tracked outside a rival, tugged briefly at the five-eighths pole, raced between foes into the far turn, chased three deep at the quarter pole and also finished evenly in the late stages. TEMPUS VOLAT sat off the pace and saved ground through both turns, moved off the fence and waited behind rivals in upper stretch, angled to the inside for a clear path and went evenly late. CAPTAIN CHOOCHIES dueled from inside, vied with outer pair briefly early on the backstretch then chased after the new leader at the seven-sixteenths pole, remained closest in pursuit around the far turn, asked right handed turning for home, switched to the left hand in upper stretch and faded. MOMAD dueled for early command on the outside to the backstretch, raced three deep at the five-eighths pole, ceded the lead and gave chase to the far turn, dropped back three then two wide around that bend and tired.
