Chart notes
BLUE TAIL FLY was hustled up and set the early pace then was passed at the 3/8 pole and waited into the stretch before angling out and came again to run by in the final sixteenth and draw clear. CITY BLAZE was void of early speed then angled off the rail and made a steady advance while five wide into the turn and opened up on the lead into the stretch but shortened stride mid-stretch and was caught in the final sixteenth. GRIMES GLEN rated in the second flight early and saved ground into the turn then angled out at the top of the stretch and made a mild rally. SUNNY LION stalked the early pace then dropped back nearing the 1/2 pole before being asked while four wide into the stretch but made no rally. LESOTHO settled behind the early leaders before altering to the four path and rushing up to challenge nearing the 1/2 pole then made a brief bid but came up empty in the stretch.
