Chart notes
KEATS reserved off the pace for the first half mile to be in mid-pack, closed ground on the far turn steadily advancing to prominence at the top of the lane, took command midway down the stretch and drew off as much the best. HIDE N WATCH set the pace on a well rated, clear lead to the quarter pole, was no match for the winner in the lane and ran-on willingly to hold the place. MATOWY stalked the pacesetter to the head ofthe stretch to be well placed and put in a grinding bid down the lane unable to ever get passed the runner-up. ALL ABOUT SOUL was unhurried racing at the rear of the main pack and showed some interest in the lane passing weaker without impact. WINDHURST tracked the leaders to the far turn and lacked a closing response going evenly. ALOHA EAST was well placed in striking distance of the leaders to the final turn and failed to respond when called upon fading from contention coming home. I'M A HAPPY MAN was not a threat as the trailer.
