Chart notes
NIKKI'S CHARM shook loose initial furlong, repelled foe on the turn then drew clear again while kept to a drive. AMERICA'S HONOR was urged off the leaders between rivals and closed with good late energy. LOOKIN AT MAC lacked speed then split rivals in the stretch with mild bid. RIGHT WING RUNNER raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter, bid on the turn then then came up empty. BEALE STREET BOY saved ground off the pace and began retreating on the turn. GAVONE moved just off the leaders three wide and gave way readily. HORSE OF THE SEA hesitated at the start losing any chance and trailed throughout. The stewards posted an inquiry into the start of the race.
