Chart notes
VANISHING WISH set a quick pace on a clear, well measured lead to the top of the lane, was engaged midway down the lane by the runner-up, lost the lead and came again fighting back to get her nose down first on the wire in a game effort. UNDERGRAD prompted the pace to the head of the stretch, rallied to vie for the lead midway down the lane, took a short lead to the sixteenth pole and was outgamed late having to settle for second best. BOTITA tracked the leaders for a half mile to be well placed and lacked a closing kick for the drive running on to hold the show. LADY HAMILTON broke a step slow to be the trailer nad steadily advanced improving her position through the field without impact on the major awards. JAYANA showed brief speed to be in early contention and dropped back in the field on the turn having failed to menace. RED HOT SPARK showed mild interest on the turn and flattened out in the lane. STRAWBERRY SKY was not a factor.
