Chart notes
VALIANT VICTORIA set the pace on a clear lead while well rationed, responded when called upon in upper stretch to remain clear midway down the lane, battled with the runner-up in deep stretch and dug-in to hold gamely. CASA JUANITA prompted the pace through the turn, rallied with a steady bid to engage the leader nearing the sixteenth pole and was denied in a good effort. A CASE OF YOU was reserved off the early pace, closed the gap on the turn and finished willingly four wide while unable to reel-in the top pair. BINDI tracked the leaders from the rail to be well placed, cut the corner turning for home, lacked racing room down the lane when boxed-in, forced way out for room three wide late in the drive and was gaining in deep stretch when finally clear. CALVARY KAT trailed most of the way proving to be no threat. HAUT LES COEURS chased the pace from mid-pack to the top ofthe lane and faded down the stretch.
