Chart notes
STEADY ON vied for the early advantage, forwardly placed throughout, dueled down the home stretch with CLARESTOWN and prevailed for the win. CLARESTOWN pressed the pace, raced close throughout, dueled down the final stretch, was outfinished for the win, but proved best of others. CASTLE ISLAND unhurried in the beginning, made a steady gain, finished willingly and was a clear third at the wire. DONEGAL FREEDOM raced in the middle of the field, came around the second turn on the outside, made a wide bid, but was no factor. ESSAY hopped at the start, racing near the back, moved up, but was no threat. SKIP THE LINE raced within contention, finished four wide and weakened. ROCKETEIGHTYEIGHT went to the front, drove clear and was finished early. CRITICAL THREAT void of early speed and showed little. BYWORD always raced near the back and was outrun.
