Chart notes
SUN TAN MAN had speed inside under a ride then rated back off outer foes nearing the half, came off the rail around the turn to pursue, responded to repeated left handed asks, worked further out in the track for the final sixteenth and surged outside an inner pair to take command late then edged clear at the wire. SOMERTON CASTLE prompted the pace three wide outside SUPREME SENDOFF, saw that one get away a bit in upper stretch, came back on to challenge between runners in deep stretch and kept on willingly to nab the pace. SUPREME SENDOFF sped up between runners to take over nearing the half, secured the inside and set sharp pace under some rating, spurted away under asking past the three sixteenths, dug in when confronted past the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. GYPSY DREAM broke slowly, rated off the pace while four wide, dropped in a path nearing the stretch, edged up to the inside of a rival past the three sixteenths, was guided out for room through the final furlong and finished strong. TIS WELL gave early chase towards the inside, dropped back leaving the far turn, shifted out some for the drive and kept on with effort. STAY TUNED , brushed at the break, chased four wide and failed to respond. LUCKY IN LIFE , a bit reluctant to load, broke on top, dropped back between runners early and failed to get involved.
