Chart notes
DELRAY , bumped and in a bit tight at the break, recovered and quickly gained three wide to reach contention into the backstretch, relaxed nicely tracking the leaders from the outside, attacked leaving the far turn then cruised clear leaving the five sixteenths, opened up under a drive in mid stretch then cruised home through the final fifty yards. DOCTOR ABBIE settled off the inside, gained four wide under a hustling ride past the five sixteenths, failed to make serious inroads through the final furlong but continued on with good effort to be well clear of the rest. FLOWERS FOR ME , bumped at the start, stalked inside, briefly paused near the three eighths, failed to kick on leaving the three sixteenths and faded. DIDN'T IT RAIN cleared early, set the pace towards the inside, was pressured leaving the far turn, chased on past the five sixteenths then weakened. PINK ROSE prompted the pace two wide outside the leader, failed to respond leaving the half mile marker, faltered between foes and was eased in the final furlong.
