Chart notes
THUNDER CANE was well placed along the fence settling off the fast pace, rallied narrowing the gap leaving the quarter pole, assumed command from the tiring pacesetters in upper stretch and was caught on the wire having to share the victory. THALBERG reserved off the pace through the turn, rallied gaining ground in mid-stretch and surged late to be up for a share of the win in the final jump. VALID SENSE stalked the dueling pacesetters to the quarter pole, rallied turning for home to loom in mid-stretch and was outkicked in the final furlong. SYDNEY STREET (GB) raced in mid-pack to midway down the lane and rallied well in the final eighth to be gaining late. INCHON slow early to be near the rear of the field, circled eight wide turning for home and finished well while passing tiring rivals. CHIPS LEGACY vied for the lead from three wide for a half mile, took a short lead at the quarter pole, fought on to midway in the lane and tired in the final furlong. DIAMOND DUST dueled on the lead setting a fast pace for a half mile and gave way in the lane. HIGHTAIL FOX was never a factor trailing throughout.
