Chart notes
PRIVATE DESIRE moved up to split runners two wide at the five eighths pole to take a clear lead through the turn, continued forging ahead down the lane with authority to prove much the best. PICTURE THIS bumped with outer foe at the start and brushed with inner rival, settled back to trail along the inside in the early stages before the turn, steadily advanced in order to make an inside move at the three sixteenths, closed some ground on the leader but was no match. BIG HAT WILLIE was rated four wide in the middle of the pack, took to the outside for the stretch run and got up for the show award. DISARMED broke sharply to settle along the inside by the five eighths, relinquished command to PRIVATE DESIRE at that same moment and continued to give chase through the turn, shifted out slightly in the upper stretch to allow inside passage for PICTURE THIS, proceeded to drift slightly while weakening. STEWIE found a forward position three wide for the turn, lacked the necessary response when called upon and flattened out down the lane. TRUST ISSUES was rated along the inside, tipped out two wide through the turn aiming between runners, lacked the kick required to execute the split and repositioned along the inside at the sixteenth but was unable to improve. KID BILLY bumped inner foe at the start, settled three wide before being bumped out by BURNINHUNKOFLOVE at the five eighths, entered the stretch four wide but came up empty. BURNINHUNKOFLOVE settled two wide after the start, bumped out KID BILLY at the five eighths marker, trailed shortly after at the half, eased across.
