Chart notes
LA HOULIGAN settled along the rail around the first turn to show the way into the backstretch, waited confidently while in the three path rounding the far turn, was roused from the five path into the stretch, drew away, and was wrapped up thru the final sixteenth. STREET PARTY tracked behind the leader in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, and chased home the winner from the four path down the lane for place. THE GREAT OSCAR pressed the winner in the four path entering the backstretch, was cued entering the far turn, floated out to the five path passing the quarter, then flattened down the lane for show. CHOWSER was held up in the five path around the first turn, stalked from there up the backstretch, came under a ride in the four path entering the far turn, but made no closing bid. EYES ON THE GROUND laid up close between foes in the four path early but gave way in the stretch.
