Chart notes
SOFT HANDS challenged for the early lead, took command at the head of the home stretch, pulled away and won handily. HERE COMES BENNY raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. LOUIE LE COEUR pressed the early pace, eased back, saved ground around the second turn, made a late gain, proved no match for the top two, but was a clear third. OHM NAMO lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no real factor. GARY P raced in the middle of the field, came around the second turn on the outside, finished wide and went to the wire evenly. PETTY OFFICER brushed start, sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground and faded after turning for home. FIRST FLAME broke thru the gates before the start, raced near the back and was never a threat. THE DUKE OF DELHI broke in, raced in the middle of the field, made a mild bid at the head of the stretch, faded and was no threat late. TEARS FOR THEE void of early speed and showed little. SHRED IT UP raced near the back, moved up to the middle of the pack, blew the second turn, lost contact with the field and was eased to the wire.
