Chart notes
NEVADA hit the gate at the start and bumped inner foe, steadily advanced under little urging from the rider for a close enough position at the quarter pole to make a four wide move, drove up to take command at the sixteenth pole and kept on. D. C.'S ARMY set the early pace in the two path, relinquished command to inside rival at the eleven sixteenths, moved back up to vie through the turn until reclaiming the lead at the quarter pole, fought on down the lane but got caught by the eventual winner at the sixteenth. SHAHNAMEH brushed the outside of the gate at the start, tracked the pace three wide, ranged up to contest the lead at the three eighths but had no final bid, held for show. E Z SPEAKER raced not too far behind the pace, continued along the inside of the turn before angling out three wide in the stretch but was unable to form a rally. DREAM MORE hit the outside of the gate and bumped outer rival at the start, continued in a four wide position until being nudged along at the five eighths, entered the stretch five wide but came up empty. LOUDEN stalked the pace along the inside in the early stages, took command at the eleven sixteenths until being contested by the initial pace setter through the turn, reluctantly gave way at the quarter pole and faded. EL MERCADO got bumped between runners at the start, trailed after the first quarter.
