Chart notes
PAPA YO got carried out briefly at the start by MOE EIGHTY EIGHT and bumped and pinched back FIRST CALL BOB in tandem with pressure outside from COCKTAILSNKRINGLE, chased along the inside patiently handled until set down angled four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying through the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to the finish. FILOSO lunged at the break, dueled four paths off the inside with THREE B'S to his inside, tucked three then two wide through the turn advancing to take over the front just inside five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in under lone threat to the outside and was caught in the final strides to the wire. COCKTAILSNKRINGLE got carried in at the break by WILLINTORISKITALL and bumped and pinched back FIRST CALL BOB in concert with pressure inside from PAPA YO, chased three then two wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths marker, swung four wide into upper stretch and ran on to secure the show honors. MOE EIGHTY EIGHT broke out at the start carrying out PAPA YO into FIRST CALL BOB, chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the turn under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. THREE B'S dueled just off the inside and then along the inside of FILOSO, yielded the front to that rival just inside five-sixteenths remaining, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. WILLINTORISKITALL broke in at the start carrying in COCKTAILSNKRINGLE, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to run, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired. FIRST CALL BOB got bumped between foes and pinched back at the start, chased three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn, continued five wide for home and faltered through to the end.
