Chart notes
ROCKIN TEXAN unhurried early, stalked four wide in the backstretch, rallied three wide into the stretch and prevailed under a drive. DANGER CAT fractious in the gate, saved along the rail, angled out two wide, leaving the backstretch, rallied between RIDING IN STYLE and ROCKIN TEXAN in the stretch, and was narrowly denied. RIDING IN STYLE set the pace, was joined leaving the backstretch, responded to challenges from DANGER CAT and ROCKIN TEXAN, rallied determinedly inside and was bested in the final strides. EL ROCKNROLL was in tight in the opening turn, then clipped heels with IMTHEPROBLEMITSME, nearly unseating the rider, and was unable to recover ground thereafter. IMTHEPROBLEMITSME sent for speed, angled sharply inward on the first turn and clipped heels with EL ROCKNROLL, pressed three to four wide before yielding, leaving the backstretch. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the rider of EL ROCKNROLL against IMTHEPROBLEMITSME alleging interference in the first turn. After review by the Board of Stewards, the objection was disallowed.
