Chart notes
LEONIDAS STAND chased the pace while three wide then ducked in at the 3/16 pole and rallied in the stretch, drawing clear late. MORE POWER set the pace and opened up into the turn then drifted out at the top of the stretch and raced all out while second best. BIRRAVINO BLVD was allowed to settle early then made a steady advance on the turn and sustained the four wide bid through the stretch. DESIGNED BY SMARTY pressed the early pace and contended for a half mile before fading in the stretch. WARRIOR'S WAY OUT was allowed to settle early then was urged to contend nearing the 3/8 pole but failed to sustain the bid in the stretch. STONECOLDHANDSOME settled early with a rail trip then was asked to contend nearing the 1/2 pole before drifting to the eight path nearing the 1/4 pole but made no rally in the stretch. HIGHLY POTENT got off slowly and rated at the back of the pack then took a bad step and pulled up nearing the 5/8 pole and was vanned off in the equine ambulance.
