Chart notes
IMA TRACK STAR dueled from outside or between runners, moved clear approaching the quarter pole and found the rail, remained clear under strong handling into the final furlong, asked once right handed midstretch and was in hand approaching the wire. SINGLEMORE followed in range from off the rail, driven three wide into the lane, put in a mild bid in upper stretch but was turned away by the winner. SOUTHERN MELODEE took an awkward step in the beginning, rushed up outside the top pair, kept the pressure on IMA TRACK STAR to the five-sixteenths pole, could not keep up with a quarter mile remaining and flattened out in the drive. CHASE N RYAN dueled from inside, got put in tight and steadied briefly early on the turn, chased along the rail to the stretch and weakened. MEEKING was off slow to begin and trailed early, angled in for the turn, shifted to the two path quickly early on the bend, moved out in the drive and lacked a rally.
