Chart notes
KOOL MARIAH dueled from outside then cleared around the first turn, moved inside on the backstretch, coaxed along on the far turn, remained clear into the lane, drew away in upper stretch and was ridden out to the wire. MISS PRACTICAL stalked three then two wide on the first turn, chased in the two path then found the rail on the far turn, churned on through the lane and best the rest. DORIE MILLER trailed in the two path, moved forward three deep on the backstretch, put in a mild bid three then two wide on the far turn, failed to sustain the run in upper stretch and flattened in the furlong grounds. BABY NEEDS SHOES stalked from inside, two wide around the far turn, tipped out into the lane and weakened. DOTTIE HINSON fought for the lead from inside into the first turn then chased into the backstretch, coaxed along in the middle stages, lost ground on the far turn, eased at the top of the lane, eventually crossed the wire and was transported off the track via equine ambulance.
