Chart notes

BORDER SONG stalked the early pace, swept the lead and drew off under urging. PARKING PERMIT saved ground along the rail, gained closer order in the final turn, but was no match for the winner in the stretch. AMEER was gapped early, gained ground nearing the final turn and rallied belatedly. A MAN'S MAN was three to four wide in the opening turn, chased the leaders and held on for show. PISCO hurried to set the early pace, was overtaken by BORDER SONG leaving the backstretch, and gave way in the stretch. AFFAIR was outrun.
