Chart notes
LET'S HAVE A PARTY was mid-pack three to four wide in the early going racing between foes up the backstretch, shifted in midway up the straight, advanced inside on the far turn cutting the corner and making an inside bid leaving that bend, kicked clear in upper stretch then held. TOP BLOOD was caught seven then six wide on the first turn racing about mid-pack, advanced outside on the far turn four to five deep drawing even past the quarter pole, kept on in the lane but was only second best. MARTINI MARTIN settled toward the rear off the rail, fanned ten wide into upper stretch, gained late. STREET GLIDE settled in behind the early leader saving ground through the first turn, switched out off the rail for the run up the backstretch, fanned eight wide into upper stretch, ran on to be best of the rest. LOVE ME NOT was urged at the start, made the lead and set the pace from off the rail mostly in the two to three path, weakened. MORNING THOUGHTS bobbled slightly at the start, angled in entering the first turn, came back out leaving that bend bringing up the rear and racing very wide, was forced six to seven deep through the far turn fanning nine wide into upper stretch, was never near enough to threaten. SUPERSTAR SWANK was caught wide through the first turn racing five to six deep, continued four to five wide on the far turn, was not a threat. ARDANWOOD was forwardly-placed stalking the pacesetter three to five wide, took closer order pressing into and on the far turn, faded in the stretch. WAR MASTER raced toward the rear five to six wide, angled in at the quarter pole, failed to rally. BELTS 'N BROOKS dropped back racing off the rail, came out in the stretch, was not a factor.
