Chart notes
QUINT'S BREW settled inside a rival but off the rail at the rear, angled nine wide turning into upper stretch, drove past late. BOARDWALK JACK settled off the pace, advanced outside foes five wide on the turn, came out a bit more for the drive, kept on in the lane to get up for place. FIRE PIT exchanged a light bump at the start, pursued from outside the second flight, edged closer four wide on the turn while ridden along past the five-sixteenths, kept on between foes in late stretch making a brief bid at the sixteenth pole but was outfinished. J J ZO ZO chased from between runners in the second flight, was in tight briefly in upper stretch, ran on behind the top ones. SCORCHING exchanged a light bump at the start, set the early pace outside, was overtaken at the half, dueled outside that foe through the turn, was in command at the top of the stretch, lacked the needed late kick. SOUPER TUSCAN lacked early speed racing outside the eventual winner at the rear, swung ten wide turning for home and passed a couple tired rivals. SHOWSTOPPER COPPER chased from inside, came out a bit in upper stretch, weakened. CHIPOTLE moved forward inside to take a narrow lead at the half, dueled inside a foe just off the rail on the turn, dropped back between runners and faded.
