Chart notes
MY MITOLE raced off the pace inside, advanced inside on the turn, angled out at the top of the lane, rallied outside, closed well in the final furlong and ran down the leader in deep stretch to prevail. JALAPENO showed good speed inside to set the pace, opened up a clear lead, responded when roused, dug in gamely when challenged in the final sixteenth and yielded grudgingly late. SWAGGISH raced two wide off the pace, advanced three wide at the quarter pole, rallied mildly and bested the others. P FOUR chased between rivals early, chased two wide on the turn and weakened. ALHAEBA was off a bit slow, chased inside, chased on the turn and faded. PROUD AMERICAN chased four wide, continued four wide on the turn and gave way. CONSUL DORADO (CHI) chased the speed in the early stages and gave way on the turn.
