Chart notes

IVY'S MISSION had the two-path part of the early scramble up top, took back off the pace at the half, had a sharp turn of foot effortlessly swooping around horses three wide at the five sixteenths pole, pounced in full flight five wide in upper stretch and powered past taking over the lead leaving the furlong pole to win going away with authority crossing the finish line. RULE THE WAVES was in the five-path arguing for the front end in the early going, poked her head in front with a half mile still to run, edged away on the engine around the turn, had the two path holding onto the lead straightening out for the drive, offered little resistance when the winner stormed on by outside at the eighth pole but stubbornly showed good tenacity to last on the rail inside from many runners closing in late for the secondary prize. INESCAPABLE was void of early foot lagging well behind a very contested pace at the half, had to be urged right-handed by the rider to get interested at the three eighths pole seeing the field, swung out widest to the seven path coming with a run at the top of the stretch and with a good late charge with the pace collapsing burst outside rivals in deep stretch to just get the head down nabbing the third place share at the wire. LET IT ALL OUT bobbled to the outside on the start having only one runner beaten along the backside, made an early move advancing outside sharply at the half, kept on with the rally closing in three wide outside horses on the turn, dueled in the four path for the lead in upper stretch but evened out in the final sixteenth of a mile getting caught at the wire losing the show award. EPISODE had the rail in the early mix, was reined back off the heated [pace at the half, was checked when keen coming close behind runners at the three eights pole, angled outside at the quarter marker, shifted to the six path for clear run at the top of the lane, found her best stride late closing in in the final furlong but was one the losing end of a blanket finish for the runners up share. VEGAS ROAD stumbled on the break, recovered quickly vying between many challengers for the lead down the back straightaway, could not keep up anymore with the lead pair by the three-furlong marker, had the fence trying to hold position inside through the turn, shaved the corner turning for home but had no rally inside when wilting on the rail in the last furlong. MATHEMATICAL dueled in the three path between runners, gave way being part of the conversation up front by the half, regressed further on the rail in midturn, shifted to the five path for the stretch run but faded between foes in the late going. SNOW FLOWER had the four path between horses battling up top in the beginning, was checked dropping out of the lead pack at the half, made little impact running just off the fence around the bend and could not get involved five wide in the stretch drive. ONE SHOT SCOTT was hard sent on the outside fighting the for the lead with six rivals across in the early going, chased the pacesetter two wide throughout the turn, was driven on for more but was going in the wrong direction by the quarter pole and ran out of steam faltering in the three path between runners by mid-stretch.
