Chart notes
MOMMA OMA was shuffled back after the break when THINK PINK came over to take her path, dropped far back early, launched a rapid move midway through the turn, swung four wide into the stretch, had trouble changing leads in upper stretch, but straightened out late, altered course to the inside, and surged past the leaders and win going away. RONNAROCK tracked the dueling leaders through the opening half-mile, ranged up three wide on the turn to take a slight lead past the quarter pole, ducked in sharply under right-handed urging near the furlong marker, continued to greenly alter course late, and yielded to the winner in the closing strides. PINING broke a step slow but hustled up to join the early pace, dueled outside of BANGKOK BLAZE, matched strides with the surging RONNAROCK through the turn, checked when that rival ducked in near the furlong pole, lost momentum, and weakened late. BANGKOK BLAZE broke well to contest the pace along the inside, poked a head in front before the half-mile pole, vied inside a pair of rivals through the turn, and gave way in upper stretch. THINK PINK veered out at the start to crowd MOMMA OMA, raced near the back of the main field while remaining within striking distance, but lacked a finishing bid when asked. SKY LUNA stayed prominent through the opening quarter-mile, struggled to keep pace through the turn, and finished evenly through the lane without threatening. STOIC RESERVE settled early, advanced into range five wide heading into the turn, came under a ride past the three-furlong pole, failed to respond to strong handling, and weakened through the drive. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN. THE JOCKEY ON #3 PINING LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST #5 RONNAROCK ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. AFTER A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS DENIED THE OBJECTION AND THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH WAS POSTED OFFICIAL.
