Chart notes
VOLCANOLOGIST sprinted to the front then showed the way under pressure, cleared outer rival on the turn and drew off under a drive down the lane. ZUZU'S CLASSIC GAL gave chase from inside, eased over to the two path approaching the quarter pole, followed in tandem with SALLY SAY in the lane, brushed with that rival midstretch and held second. SALLY SAYS broke well then stalked the speed from outside rivals, chased three wide through the turn, brushed with ZUZU'S CLASSIC GAL in the furlong grounds and got outdueled for second. ANYA raced up close for a bit then dropped back when climbing, trailed along the inside into the turn, had one rival beat around the bend, went two wide into the drive and passed a tired runner to earn a minor award. GENUINE GRACE went up to press the pace from outside, failed to keep up with the leader and lost positions on the turn, then weakened in the drive. VICIOUS PRINCESS lacked early speed and was guided outside, trailed in the three path on the turn and could not make an impact.
