Chart notes
GAPPER rated in the second flight early then made a bid between horses into the stretch and raced all out, emerging clear in the final yards. GOTTOMAKEITHAPPEN got away alertly and pressed the early pace then took the lead into the stretch and battled through the long drive, running on to be second best. RED CHILI PEPPER chased the pace while four wide then made a steady advance on the turn and contended through the long drive but was outfinished at the wire. BISCUITS AND GRITS was rushed up and set the early pace then was headed nearing the 1/2 pole but dug in along the rail through the stretch and gave way late. GONE IN A FLASH rated in the middle of the pack early and saved ground into the turn before angling five wide into the stretch and was asked but just raced evenly late. FACT NOT FICTION settled early off the pace then was urged to contend nearing the 1/2 pole and made a rail bid into the stretch but didn't rally late. GIFT OF OAK was allowed to settle while tucking in early then saved ground into the turn before angling six wide into the stretch but never threatened. MOR CRAFTY wouldn't load into the gate then got off slowly and trailed the field while getting out nearing the 3/8 pole and never factored.
