Chart notes
LONG LEGGED QUEEN trailed in the early stages, traveled two wide through the turn, split runners at the quarter and was brushed out by ARINATA, continued to sustain a rally along the outside of the stretch to be up in the final yards and drawing clear. CARMEN AMALIA was a bit fractious in the gate, found position along the inside, was cued two wide at the five sixteenths to begin a drive three wide down the lane, got into a very prominent position at the sixteenth but ended up being out-finished. APERITIF was forwardly placed along the outside for the run up the backstretch, took a clear lead along the inside before the turn, came under a drive at the quarter pole but got caught in the final yards. ARINATA settled off the pace on the inside, shifted out four wide at the quarter brushing with LONG LEGGED QUEEN, was unable to close down the lane, drifted out late to bump NOW OR NEVERMORE at the wire. NOW OR NEVERMORE got bumped by outer foe at the start, was bumped by that same rival again shortly after, continued off the pace between runners, shifted out at the seven sixteenths bumping into KAATERSKILL once more, took to the outside of the stretch before responding late to put together a mild rally and got bumped out by ARINATA right at the wire. KAATERSKILL bumped inner foe at the start, came in again to bump that same rival shortly after, continued off the pace three wide, was bumped out four wide by NOW OR NEVERMORE at the seven sixteenths, trailed by the five sixteenths, went by faders in the stretch. VERNON VALLEY found a forward position in the early stages, chased the leader two wide through the turn, was asked at the five sixteenths to keep up with the pace but weakened late. DENVER'S ALLEY was forwardly placed along the inside, came under a tight rein entering the turn as APERTIF claimed the lead, shadowed along the inside until backing off halfway around the turn, had little to show in the late stages.
