Chart notes
SHANKAR dueled outside of a rival, led inside, was clear in the stretch and lasted under a mild drive. BAYTOWN PARFAIT stalked the pace in the three path, bid near the eighth pole but couldn't get past the winner. JUSTHAPPYTOBEHERE saved ground, angled to the four path near the quarter pole and bid belatedly. JAILHOUSE JUSTICE stalked the pace in the two path, moved to the three path near the quarter pole but had no late bid. ON PALM SUNDAY raced evenly in the four path. MOOGIE SON led inside before taking up near the three-eighths pole. QUOKKA saved ground to no avail. THE STEWARDS DISMISSED AN OBJECTION BY THE TRAINER OF MOOGIE SON AGAINST THE WINNER ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE.
