Chart notes
IGNORING ALANA unhurried in the early going to race near the rear of the field, rallied swinging six wide at the top of the lane and found his best stride late to close with a rush and cruised passed the pacesetter to be going away late in the lane. FUN TIME LINDSAY sped to the lead going clear early, widened the advantage at a quick tempo through the turn, continued to be well clear in mid-stretch and wilted in the final sixteenth. ZARZUELA stalked the pace to the head of the stretch and failed to gain ground in the lane going evenly to hang on to the show. BOSSBABE VIBES tracked the leaders from five wide around the bend and lacked a closing response. GIRVINETTE broke alertly, immediately dropped to the rear of the field to trail and failed to menace. MELLY B. GOOD chased the leaders for a half mile and faded coming home. CRESCENT showed brief speed to race in early contention and came up empty on the turn.
