Chart notes
HECTOR tracked the leaders from the rail to be well placed at the head of the lane, tipped out three wide around the pacesetter in upper stretch and drove passed convincingly in the fianl furlong. JUSTICE IS SWEET reserved off the pace near the rear of the field into the far turn, rallied with a steady advance approaching the quarter pole and finished willingly while unable to catch the winner. KING MENDELSSOHN set the pace on a well rated, well measured lead to midway on the final turn, edged away midway on the bend to go further clear, responded turning for home but couldn't last in the final sixteenth being outfinished by the top pair. HE'S A MESS was unhurried to be the trailer to the far turn and rallied mildly with some interest and no impact. TWILIGHT DANCER pressed the pace to the fianl turn and steadily gave way. CLASSIC NOFTY was not a threat.
