Chart notes
NUTS AND BOLTS set the pace on a well measured lead through tepid fractions, kicked away turning for home when called upon and drew off convincingly. MINARI broke awkwardly to give the field several lengths away from the gate, was unhurried for the first half mile, commneced a steady rally on the final turn and continued to improve down the lane to be up for the place. RISK AND REGRET prompted the pace to the far turn, rallied to threaten midway on the bend, failed to pass the pacesetter when turned away and kept-on in the lane as the best of the rest. TOO LOOSE LA TREK slow early to be the trailer, saved ground on the final bend while still at the back and showed some interest in the lane passing weaker rivals. STARSHIP DISCOVERY showed brief speed to press the pace through the first turn and faded from contention on the far turn. RUBY HAMILTON tracked the leaders to the final bend, chased the leaders through the turn and flattened out coming home. BAYTOWN STORM was one-paced and never threatened.
