Chart notes
HALE BOP set the pace on clear, well rated lead fo the far turn, repelled rivals bid midway on the turn, dug-in gamely through the stretch and held well fighting off all comers in the drive. FUR ELISE reserved in mid-pack for three-quarters, rallied turning for home to engage the leader just inside the eighth pole and hung failing to get by the determined winner. CAPARBIA was slow early to be the trailer, moved into contention on the far turn, angled seven wide for the drive and was gaining with every stride late in a belated bid. KATHLYNS PHALANX trailed to the top of the lane, rallied through traffic, angled to the inside and closed well with a late gain. TOO MUCH FUN tracked the leaders to the far turn, rallied to loom up in mid-stretch and was outkicked in a good try. LIGHTEN was well placed in striking distance of the leaders while saving ground along the fence through the far turn and lacked a strong enough closing kick for the drive. CHANNEL ME IN went evenly failing to menace. SWEET CAROL JAMES prompted the pace down the backstretch while racing five wide pulling against restraint and gave way in upper stretch fading from contention. DANCING SHADOWS showed brief speed chasing the pace early and came up empty nearing the final turn.
