Chart notes
KINZIE GIRL had a slim lead on the fence initially, shook clear heading into the turn, edged away a bit more from her closest pursuer by the three eighths pole, had the two path well in control at the top of the lane and kept finding more when called upon by the rider through the stretch drive to hold comfortably in the end for the gate to wire score. CLEARWATER BEACH was paired up with an inside foe sitting in mid-division, ranged closer when nudged for more two wide in midturn, shifted to the four path still in hand looming boldly four wide taking the corner, moved into the second place position by the three sixteenths pole, could not close in on the winner in deep stretch but gutted it out to the wire lasting in a mad finish for the runners up share in the end. DESIGN DIVA was in no hurry outside trailing the field down the backside, passed a couple of runners going around foes three wide in the turn running, moved out to the six path turning for home and had good late energy winning the show award while just missing out in a blanket four way finish for second. SPUN FOR FLATTER was forwardly placed on the rail down the backside with the field strung out while keeping tabs on the front four rivals, waited for the cue to move from the rider moving well in hand around the turn, shifted out to the five path getting a clear lane in mid-stretch and ran on with intent dueling between horses in deep stretch capturing a minor share while in the conversation for a tight finish for place as well. DIVINELY INSPIRED was situated near the rear down the backstretch, lagged behind the group being passed at the three eighths marker, shifted to the five path making a rally at the quarter pole, angled out eight wide closing in with a furlong to go and charged home strongly late but was on the wrong end four horse scramble for second money at the finish line. ADORABLE ANGEL pressed the early going between runners in the two path, took back off the lead duo by the five eighths pole, saved all the ground on the turn while inside another tracking the leader, skimmed the fence in the hunt at the head of the lane but faded inside of runners in the final eighth of a mile. MRS. G settled close to the back end between horses in the early stages, angled to the five path straightening out for home, passed some runners in the drive but could not get involved in the late running though. RELOAD BABA prompted the early pace while six deep leaving the gate, had a good spot outside another tracking the lead duo by the five eighths marker, continued to keep a close eye on the lead two runners through the turn, moved in three wide at the quarter pole in the mix between rivals in upper stretch but did not have anything left to give late and faltered with horses on either side in the last furlong. PARTY HOTLINE was allowed to settle into stride inside of rivals having only a couple of runners beaten in the early going, lacked running room having to be put on hold behind runners through the turn, shifted to the three path for the stretch drive but when clear had no finishing kick to offer in the final eighth of a mile. ARTFUL DIAMOND vied between runners in the beginning, forced the pace outside at the five eighths pole, travelled two wide chasing the winner in vain around the bend and faltered between runners in the two path by the furlong marker. BIG IMAGINATION (JPN) travelled three deep close to the back end, made no progression three wide around horses through the turn, swung out widest in the seven path turning for home but came up empty for the stretch drive.
