Chart notes
WHAT DOES IT TAKE forwardly placed to the first turn, stalked the leading pair to the backstretch, was well placed to the far turn then bid between foes to upper stretch, took command to the furlong marker, kicked clear to the final sixteenth and kept to task late. TRANSCENDENTAL caught a bit wide to the first turn then settled in the second flight, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker then roused into the stretch, closed willingly while three wide heading to the final sixteenth, couldn't reel in the winner late but got up in time for second. COLLECTION DAY reserved to the backstretch, chased just off of the rail into the far turn, roused from the two path into the lane, rallied to the final sixteenth then was just outfinished for second, while getting up in time for third. ROAN BURGUNDY close up to the early pace while three wide, stalked to the half-mile pole then pressed into the second turn, took a narrow lead at the quarter pole, battled into the lane then began to drift out at the furlong pole, yielded in the final sixteenth and was outfinished for the minor awards. CLASSIC JOKE took early command, set a prompted pace to the half-mile, met oncoming bids into the far turn then was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, fought on into the stretch but faded in the final sixteenth. UNION LIGHTS settled along the rail, came under a drive into the far turn, trailed to upper stretch then had no late response.
