Chart notes
WALTER THE MASON contested the pace between foes, then drew clear in the final furlong. ALBERTUS tracked four-wide in the second flight, moved up in range of the leaders near the quarter pole, and sustained the bid through the stretch to move up into the second spot. DOUBLE RIDE was sent hard to get to the lead, vied three-wide, kept on well, but was outfinished. TIZLIGHTNING broke well and was the inside horse in the early speed battle, but gave way in the last furlong. DISCREET MOB chased three-wide in the second flight, had every chance in the stretch but lacked a late kick. JAIME'S COMMITMENT was two-deep in the tracking group, went evernly late without posing a serious threat. BART SIP SOME got off to an awkward start, dropped back, chased the field from far back early, then was unable to improve. PALS WILD LIBERTY raced in mid-pack down the backstretch, bore out early on the turn, and was not a factor thereafter. CLASSIC MOMENT ducked in, then took a bump from the inside rival, dropped far back, and was never a factor.
