Chart notes
REGAL STAR bumped at the start, stalked the leaders up close along the rail down the backside, upped the tempo angled out three deep into the lane, captured the pace setter nearing the sixteenth post, kicked away to the wire. CITY OF BLING sent into the first turn, set the pace along the rail down the backside, held a slim lead leaving the furlong marker, dug in gamely inside rival through the final sixteenth, conceded grudgingly. OJIN broke alertly, prompted the pace three wide into the far turn, no match for the top pair stayed willingly for the show. HONOR THE BULL settled well back inside down the back stretch, cut the corner into the lane, went by-faders through the stretch, mild late interest. FOX CREEK rated inside down the backside, roused on between runners leaving the furlong marker, unable to switch leads through the lane, had no late impact. HILL COUNTRY settled well off the pace three wide for the run up the backside, came up empty through the stretch. LION GUARD bumped at the start, hustled between rivals to keep pace into the far turn, gave way upper. ROAD RUNNER pressed four wide mid-pack into the far turn, weakened through the stretch. SPOTLIGHT THE WAY bumped at the start, briefly chased around the club house turn, faltered quarter.
