Chart notes

BOLD RIPASSO was unfazed at the back of the pack in the early stages, made a very strong move circling runners effortlessly four wide around the turn with the rider statuesque just being a passenger throughout, loomed boldly in the five path turning for home, was finally set down in upper stretch easily taking control by the furlong marker and drew away with authority in deep stretch for the impressive turn of foot win. ARIANNA'S TOUR caught a flyer out of the gate loose on the lead down the backstretch easily getting to the rail, rolled along on the turn but had company bearing down outside at the five sixteenths marker, was roused for more narrowly holding on two wide in upper stretch with rivals coming on from either side, had little resistance when the winner flew by on the outside taking control at the furlong pole but showed grit and determination in the final sixteenth just last between many runners holding on in a five way blanket finish for the secondary share. REGAL AFFAIR was on the outside of runners near the rear having only the eventual winner beaten down the backside, could see the field when being relegated to last three wide at the three eighths pole, moved out widest in the six path gathering speed at the top of the stretch, closed in sharply full of run in the final furlong and won the show award just missing out surging for the second money as well. ZABARTA crept up on the rail down the backside in range of the top three runners by the seven sixteenths pole, rated kindly on hold drafting behind the lead trio around the turn, skimmed the fence coming on to be in the mix at the top of the stretch and gradually kept inching up inside runners to garner a minor placing at the wire. DADDY'S THE BOSS sat all alone early on watching the lead two runners down the backside, began to edge up three wide at the three eighths pole, continued outside the two leaders prompting the pace throughout the turn, remained in the three-path arguing for the front end between foes straightening out for the drive to the wire and faded ever so slightly in deep stretch losing a couple of placings right at the finish line. SECRET LOAD had a few runners beaten down the backside, travelled two wide making not much of an impression around the turn, shifted to the five path for the stretch drive, moved out even further to be seven wide having clear run with a furlong to go and found her best stride late but could not get there in time being on the wrong end of a five horses picture for the runners up share. BACKSTREET EMMA was forwardly positioned watching the lead trio outside at the half, inched up three wide on the turn by the quarter marker, shifted to the four path just behind the leaders at the top of the lane but could not quicken with others making a rally in upper stretch and was not involved in the late running. FLY TRUE NORTH chased the lone speed leader down the backstretch, was under a drive two wide between horses but could not keep up to the leaders in midturn, had little left to give being swarmed on both sides by rivals at the quarter pole and folded in upper stretch. VELOCITA settled on the rail near the rear, took the shortest way around the turn making little impact, closed the gap on the runners making a brief move shaving the corner turning for home but could not continue the rally and emptied out on the rail by the furlong marker.
