Chart notes
GRAND OPENING bobbled at the break then was bumped early, took to firm rating while saving ground into and around the turn, seized an inside path to surge clear near mid stretch then eagerly kicked away under a drive. TOPS THE CHART chased four wide, gained under a ride five wide into the stretch, threatened near mid stretch then kept on willingly to be a clear second. RADICAL RIGHT took a bump early from outer foe in the opening sixteenth, prompted two wide then bid between rivals mid turn, vied into the lane, was bumped again near mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. PERFECT FORCE , urged off the pace and outside the winner, shifted out in upper stretch, bumped with an inner and outer rival when attempting to work through a tight spot in mid stretch, regrouped to find late clearance and churned on. WOODLINE exchanged contact with an inner foe early on, attended the pace three deep, battled four wide into the stretch, bumped with PERFECT FORCE nearing the furlong grounds and faded. SPRINGHAWK broke inward and was away last, straightened and rushed up to the inside of rivals to take over and clear, handled outer pressure around the turn, drifted out a path entering the lane, failed to kick on near the eighth pole and weakened.
