Chart notes
HOWGREATISNATE jostled on both sides leaving the starting gate, hugged the inner rail on the turn under patient handling, had ample room along the rail through the stretch, swept to command inside the eighth pole then eagerly drew out. POWER GRID showed speed along the rail, dueled to the stretch, came off the fence in upper stretch and was out finished by the winner. ZERO BLITZ bore in at the start, raced along the inner rail on the turn, eased out approaching the stretch, swung to the four path in upper stretch and gave way. DERBYNESS , three deep around the turn, chased the pace to upper stretch and gave way. WORCESTER , bumped between horses at the start, lacked speed, circled the turn three wide and dropped back. BUMP N RUN bumped with HOWGREATISNATE leaving the starting gate, raced in the two path on the turn and dropped back. DR. STEVE dueled outside POWER GRID and faltered.
