Chart notes
CATFISH CORY pressed the leader from inside, took over early on the turn, fought with JONNY'S CAP past the five-sixteenths pole, drove clear at the top of the stretch and drew off. JONNY'S CAP stalked the top pair early on, bid between at the five-sixteenths pole, fought outside CATFISH CORY late on the bend, could not keep up with the winner in upper stretch but was able to secure second. RED RAIDER coaxed along from off the pace, closed in along the rail around the bend, tipped out into the drive and flattened out. CLUB FIGHTER trailed out wide, moved into the two path for the turn, became rank at the five-sixteenths pole, settled down and moved inside but could not rally down the lane. IMELDA IS MY LIGHT pursued in the three path into the turn, lost ground around the bend, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. CAPS D'ORO set the pace outside a rival up the backstretch, lost command early on the turn, yielded to inner pair at the five-sixteenths pole and tired.
