Chart notes
BUIUM rated kindly with runners on either side keeping a close eye on the contesting duo, angled out pushing his way through four wide in upper stretch, had the five-path chipping away at the leader with a furlong to run and grinded away in deep stretch wearing the frontrunner down in the shadow of the wire getting the nod right at the finish line outside. SUPER TOM saved all the ground throughout hugging the rail in midfield, picked up the bit when urged on shaving the corner at the quarter pole, darted up the fence getting brushed by the outside foe while taking the lead at the furlong marker, edged clear up top with a sixteenth to the prize but just got nabbed by the winner outside in the last jump. TORONTO CITY was unhurried trailing outside in the early stages, settled three wide being a joint last outside along the turn, took closer order coming with a run in the four path in upper stretch looking for running room, angled inwards two wide trying to get through a very tight seam at the furlong pole but having to be steadied when it closed up losing all momentum, determinedly regained composure and fought back inside runners in the late running and got up winning the photo for the show award. NO HAY DOS travelled three deep in the middle of the pack, continued a three wide journey watching the engaged duo through the bend, was pushed out by the stablemate getting into the conversation up front five wide at the head of the lane and finished up evenly in the final furlong outside runners losing the battle for third by a whisker. BEYOND ADVERSITY was under a long hold dictating the pace down the backside, had company outside on even terms with the pace getting lively midway around the turn, had the two path just clinging on up front at the quarter pole, surrendered the lead to the inside foe at the furlong marker and wilted in deep stretch between rivals losing a couple of positions very late. IRISH MOJO hounded the pacesetter outside down the backstretch under a moderate tempo, moved in outside on the turn forcing the issue with the pace quickening considerably by the three eighths pole, battled between runners in the three-path turning for home but had little left and tired with challengers on either side at the furlong marker. FOREVER FROSTY settled near the rear on the inside down the back straightaway, shared the rear inside another while travelling two wide throughout the turn and had little to give coming up empty inside of rivals by the three sixteenths marker.
