Chart notes
GREAT COMPOSER eased back off the dueling leaders, bid three wide on the turn then edged off driving. CALL ME ANDY dueled between foes, came in at the far turn bumping rival, saved ground and continued gamely. VANCOUGAR prompted the pace outside, led on the turn then tired in the stretch. COMPLEX MUSIC outrun early, advanced very wide on the turn then flattened out. CAJUN VENOM saved ground, was taken up sharply near the three eighths pole then rallied late. KING PEANUT forced the pace inside, was taken up sharply into the far turn losing any chance. TOUGH GUY TONY dropped back early and trailed throughout. Following a steward's inquiry and an objection by the sixth place finisher against the second finisher for interference at the far turn, CALL ME ANDY was disqualified and placed sixth.
