Chart notes
PURSE THIEF bumped at the start, vied for the early lead, saved ground, dueled throughout with RIPPLE'S ROCKET and prevailed for the win. RIPPLE'S ROCKET challenged on the front end, dueled throughout, was outfinished for the win, but held off a late running KING JULES for second. KING JULES raced within striking distance, made a late bid, five wide and was gaining on the leaders. BENJAMINO raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the turn, made a mild bid, but was no factor. BIG COUNTRY BOY raced near the middle of the pack, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. HOLD MY HAT lacked early speed, saved ground around the turn, moved up, hung and was no threat. THAT'S APRIORITY raced within striking distance and faded. ROCKY ROCK IT void of early speed and was never close. SHOT GUN SHACK broke in the air, bumped rival, trailed the field, came around the turn wide and was never a threat.
