Chart notes
BUTLER CABIN stalked the leaders in the early going, moved up on outside around the final turn, rallied down the lane and proved the best. WOODS N WATER void of early speed, made a late wide bid and finished willingly. MIDNIGHT RULES showed early speed, forwardly placed throughout and was outfinished for second, while racing inside. SPECIAL STORMY lacked early speed and passed tired ones late. ALL WEST pressed the early pace, racing outside around the first turn, took the lead at the 3/4 pole and faded down the home stretch. TAPPIN FORA DANCE raced within contention, in the middle of the pack and dropped back. Z'S GUITAR went to the front, saved ground and was finished early. THE JOCKEY OF #6 WOODS N WATER LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #7 BUTLER CABIN FOR INTERFERENCE IN LATE STRETCH. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
