Chart notes
SMART CRY bumped at the start, vied inside leaving the first turn, shook off rival mid-way down the backside, held off late challenger under strong handling. DEFIANT SPIRIT bumped at the start, rated off the pace down the back stretch, two wide pursuit from the furlong marker, chased on well late second best. MACNICK TIME very antsy in the gate pre-start, broke slow at the bell, roused on inside leaving the quarter pole, angled out through the lane, closed the gap willingly. JUMPING JADA three wide chased the vying leaders down the backside, came up empty through the lane. RITA THE REDHEAD urged along off the pace three wide into the far turn, weakened. ARRAYAOFGRACE sent into the first turn, vied two wide down the back stretch, faltered quarter.
